Common called Pig Face.

The plant has a thick root-stock, which has fleshy green thick long leaves. The leaves are triangle shaped in cross section, oblong, tapering, keeled, and form dense clumps. Its attractive golden-yellow flowers produce vibrant displays in winter, spring and early summer. It needs a bright exposure, part shade in summer. The plant should be watered regularly in Summer allowing too dry before watering again. The plants prefer to be light watering in Winter to resist the cold. They grow best in well-drained soil also to keep the roots cool in summer.

It is a low-growing succulent, with triangle green shape leaves on stems forming a clump. Stout stems are freely branched and the growth eventually becomes matted. The flower can be pink also open in the afternoon. Free draining mix that allows the roots to breathe. It likes winter’s rest and should be kept completely dry during the winter months. The plant tolerates bright situations.

Knock as Pickle Plant.

The succulent has stems that have small leaves with bristly hairs. It becomes bushy with careful maintenance. Can have small white, pale greenish-yellow or yellow in color.  Well draining soil is best to use. Regular watering but allow it to dry out completely each time. Filtered sunlight to full sunlight.

The plant has long blue-green leaves that pair up on a short stem. It branches to form a small shrub. Ideal for a feature pot on a table.  It needs a bright exposure, part shade in summer. It is a low growing clump-forming with jaw-like green leaves. The leaves have tubercles on the top making it easy to identify. The flowers can be yellow in color. They need full sun to light shade, it should be protected from too much exposure in Summer. t likes a well-drained soil mix but can tolerate a wide variety of soil types. The plants should be well watered during the growing season also allowed to dry thoroughly before watering again.

It is a clumping form, mainly branches from the base. The plant grows long stems and also tends to flop over and hang down. They have cyathia (female and male flowers) type flowers which tend to appear at the end of each stem. It requires bright sun to light shade exposures. Use very draining soil, water during the growing season. But allowed to dry before watering again.
