Common called Pig Face.
The plant has a thick root-stock, which has fleshy green thick long leaves. The leaves are triangle shaped in cross section, oblong, tapering, keeled, and form dense clumps. Its attractive golden-yellow flowers produce vibrant displays in winter, spring and early summer. It needs a bright exposure, part shade in summer. The plant should be watered regularly in Summer allowing too dry before watering again. The plants prefer to be light watering in Winter to resist the cold. They grow best in well-drained soil also to keep the roots cool in summer.
It is a low-growing succulent, with triangle green shape leaves on stems forming a clump. Stout stems are freely branched and the growth eventually becomes matted. The flower can be pink also open in the afternoon. Free draining mix that allows the roots to breathe. It likes winter’s rest and should be kept completely dry during the winter months.
