It is a spineless plant, normally solitary, with distinct ribs. It is a slow-growing and easily flowering species. It requires filtered sunlight to full sunlight. Light shade to full sun, its color tends to richer and darker when grown in light shade. Plus it is best to careful watering to keep the plant compact.
