Australian Desert Blooms

ECHEVERIA SHIKI KUKSI

Echeveria Shiki Kuksi is a hybrid introduced by the U.S.A. Whether it is a Japanese hybrid or not is unknown. There are about 150 species and more than 1000 cultivars. This Echeveria Shiki Kuksi is a small clumping succulent. Similar to Echeveria Elegans as it is a hybrid of this species. Plants are watered and also allowed to dry thoroughly before watering again. It needs full sun or high interior lighting with a very well-drained soil mix and freely circulating air. Easy to grow, rosette shape plant that is offset at the base. Just don’t overwater it. Good drainage is required. Grown in a 70mm size pot. Ideal for anywhere it has good drainage, sunlight, and a cool atmosphere.

Growing

Australian Desert Blooms Nursery is producing many more cacti, cactus, and succulents for you to buy online. If anytime this cactus is out of stock know for sure that it will be back as quickly as possible. As we produce all our own stock here in Ipswich near Brisbane.

Planting

Watch your Echeveria Shiki Kuksi for the first couple of months to check if they are happy where they are.

The Echeveria Shiki Kuksi requires more sunlight if it looks like growing out of shape. Burning is a common fact when having new plants. Best to gradually give them more sunlight as the weeks go by. Instead of placing it in straight sunlight.

Allow them to sit for a week before giving them a good drink. Depending on the season. Make sure they dry out completely before watering again. Don’t forget to give them a spray with soapy water to keep the bugs off them. And provide very good ventilation.
