Native: Fort-Dauphin area in South East Madagascar.
It is a succulent, low-growing, dwarf, small shrub type. Also forming thick stems and roots with time. It is a slow-growing species and tubers take many years to enlarge. Place in pots with generous drain holes. It requires filtered sunlight to full sunlight per day. Water regularly during the active growing season. Keep almost completely dry in winter. Plus don’t allow water to stand around the roots.
