MATUCANA COMACEPHALA

Native: Peru

Normally solitary, spherical to shortly columnar, green to grey-green in the body. The spines are thick, white to pale yellow, bristle-like that cover the plant. The flowers are pink in color. This plant needs full sun but tolerates moderate shade. Water should be kept almost completely dry in winter.
