MELOCACTUS BAHIENSIS

The plant is a small globular cactus with a body of light to dark green in color. The spines are short, curved, off-white, also have many ribs. The plants need a bright exposure, part shade in summer. The plant should be watered regularly in Summer allowing too dry before watering again and kept drier in Winter. They grow best in well-drained soil also to keep the roots cool in summer.
