Native: the Rio Grande do Sul (Brazil, Southern America)

It is a solitary or slowly clustering medium-sized barrel cactus with many flowers in early spring. The flowers can be orange or yellow in color. It requires filtered sunlight to full sunlight per day. Well, draining soil also kept dry in between watering.
