Short column shape green body with short spines over it. The plants offset mainly at the base forming a clump. It needs a bright exposure, part shade in summer. The plant should be watered regularly in Summer allowing to dry before watering again also kept drier in Winter. They grow best in well-drained soil also to keep the roots cool in summer.
